The Hopeflaten site is one of the largest areas in the region and is suitable for a large industrial development. The area is not currently zoned, and the zoning process is estimated to be 12 to 16 months. Located within Mongstad Industrial Park presents many advantages in terms of access to services and infrastructure. Mongstad supply base offers logistics and port services to third parties located outside the ISPS area.
Hopeflaten is also close to Lindås transformer ensuring access to sufficient power supply, and there is redundant fiber in the area.
